Big Brother & Sister Park Companions
For the kid who’s too old for a babysitter and too young to roam the parks alone.
Every family knows this kid: 9, 11, 13 years old — way past the little-kid rides, rolling their eyes at the family itinerary, and desperate for a taste of independence. But Orlando’s theme parks are big, crowded places, and no parent is comfortable turning a tween loose in them solo.
Our Big Brother & Sister program is the answer. We pair your school-age child with a vetted, energetic young-adult companion — a “big sibling for the day” — who explores the parks with them: riding the coasters, playing the interactive games, hunting for hidden Mickeys, and giving them the independence they’re craving, inside boundaries you set.
Not Babysitting — Companionship
This isn’t childcare, and we don’t treat it that way. Big Brother & Sister companions are typically college-age or young professionals, chosen for maturity, energy, and the rare ability to be genuinely fun for a 12-year-old. They don’t hover — they hang out. The dynamic feels like an awesome older cousin, not a supervisor.
That said, the safety standards are identical to our nanny service: FBI-level background checks, fingerprinting, sex-offender registry screening, reference verification, CPR/First Aid certification, and park-specific training. Fun doesn’t come at the expense of safety — ever. Read our vetting standards.
How a Big Brother & Sister Day Works
You set the boundaries
Before park day, you tell us the rules: which parks and lands are okay, check-in frequency, spending limits, ride restrictions, phone rules. Your companion enforces your boundaries, not theirs.
They plan the day together
Your child gets real input — which rides first, where to eat, what to prioritize. For kids used to being dragged along on the family plan, this ownership is the whole point.
You get updates, they get freedom
Photo check-ins and location updates come to you on whatever schedule you choose — every hour, at meals, or just “we’re fine” texts. Meanwhile your tween gets the independent park day they’ve been dreaming about.
The family reunites for the good stuff
Most families book a companion for part of the day — the morning thrill-ride blitz, say — then regroup for dinner, fireworks, or the evening show. Everybody gets what they wanted.
Perfect for Mixed-Age Families
The classic use case: you’ve got a 6-year-old who needs a nanny, and an 11-year-old who would rather do literally anything else. Book both, and each child gets a day designed for exactly who they are — while the parents finally get a day designed for adults. Ask about multi-day and multi-child packages.
What Parents Tell Us
The feedback on this program is remarkably consistent: “My son said it was the best day of the trip.” Tweens come back buzzing — new favorite ride, inside jokes with their companion, a confidence boost from navigating the parks on their own terms. And parents get something rare on a family vacation: a few hours where nobody needs them.
Book a Big Brother or Sister
Tell us your child’s age, interests, and park plans — we’ll match them with a companion they’ll actually think is cool. Usually confirmed within 24 hours.
