Your Child’s Safety Comes First

Leaving your children with someone new — on vacation, in a crowded theme park — is a big decision. Here’s exactly how we earn that trust.

Every Orlando Park Nannies caregiver clears the same rigorous screening before their first assignment. No exceptions, no shortcuts. If a candidate can’t pass every step below, they don’t work with children — it’s that simple.

Our 7-Step Vetting Process

1. FBI-level background check

Every caregiver undergoes a comprehensive criminal background check at the federal level — not a quick online search, but a full fingerprint-based screening.

2. Sex-offender registry screening

Candidates are checked against national and Florida sex-offender registries. Any match is an automatic, permanent disqualification.

3. Fingerprinting

All caregivers are fingerprinted as part of the background process, creating a verifiable identity record tied to their screening.

4. Reference verification

We don’t just collect references — we call them. Every candidate must provide professional childcare references, and we speak with each one about reliability, judgment, and how they handle real situations with children.

5. In-person interview

Credentials on paper aren’t enough. Our interviews probe how candidates actually think: scenario questions about lost children, medical situations, difficult behavior, and split-second decisions in crowded environments.

6. CPR & First Aid certification

Every nanny and companion is certified in CPR and First Aid, and certifications must stay current. In a theme park — heat, excitement, scraped knees — this isn’t a nice-to-have.

7. Park-specific training

Knowing childcare isn’t the same as knowing the parks. Before their first assignment, caregivers train on the layouts, ride height requirements, quiet rest areas, first-aid locations, and lost-child procedures for Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld.

30+ Years of Childcare Experience Behind the Service

Orlando Park Nannies was built on more than three decades of professional childcare experience. That experience shapes everything: how we interview, how we match nannies to families, and the standards we refuse to compromise. We’ve seen what can go wrong on a park day, and we’ve built systems so it doesn’t.

Safety During Your Park Day

Vetting gets your nanny through the door. These practices keep your children safe all day:

  • You meet your nanny before park day. No strangers at the gates — you’ll have connected in advance and know exactly who to expect.
  • Photo ID confirmed at meetup. Your nanny arrives with identification you can verify on the spot.
  • Stay in touch your way. Text, call, or photo updates on whatever schedule makes you comfortable — hourly check-ins, meal updates, or a simple “all good.”
  • Your rules, enforced. Nap times, food allergies, sunscreen, ride restrictions, spending limits — everything you tell us becomes your nanny’s operating instructions.
  • Lost-child protocol. Every caregiver is trained on immediate lost-child procedures for each park, including exactly where to go and who to contact first. (In 30+ years of combined experience, prevention has meant we’ve rarely needed it.)

A Note for Nervous Parents

If you’re reading this page carefully, you’re our kind of client. The parents who ask the hardest questions about safety are the ones we most want to work with — because it means you take this as seriously as we do. Call us at (863) 563-1844 and ask us anything. If we can’t answer a safety question to your satisfaction, we’re not the right service for your family, and we’ll tell you that honestly.
